This is an SOS from the Kids

Students from Various Schools

On the occasion of World Wetlands Day, the students of Kolkata, Dhaka, and Sundarbans have come together to make an appeal to make the Gangetic Delta a safer place and more resilient to future Disasters. The content of the video has been developed from the round table discussion that happened between these school students in November 2021 at the American Centre Kolkata. Due to the covid situation, the students prepared this video remotely and came forward to make a very important appeal to the people of Bengal.

About Climate Wall Project

Project Climate Wall is a yearlong project that was initiated by the Living Waters Museum in November 2021 with support from the US Consulate General, Kolkata. This project seeks to engage children from schools in Kolkata, the Sunderbans region, and Dhaka in Bangladesh to advocate youth voices on climate awareness, both through physical initiatives (mangrove plantations) and the development of a virtual wall on mitigating the future risks of climate change..
